Singapore Statutes Online conditions

Reproduction of Singapore legislation must comply with the Singapore Statutes Online FAQ and Terms of Use, including notices covering AGC permission, copyright, checking the latest version, responsibility for accuracy and no government endorsement. local-copy-approved applies only while those conditions continue to be met.

Translation and publication controls​

  1. Chinese text for Singapore materials is labelled “editorial translation / unofficial translation”; the official English text prevails.
  2. SSO text pages always show the legislative copyright, AGC permission, latest-version check, accuracy responsibility and no-government-endorsement notices.
  3. Until rights are confirmed, MAS materials are limited to official links, professional summaries and necessary short extracts, with no mirrored PDF.
  4. A site download is offered only for an original file with local-copy-approved status and a registered source, retrieval date and SHA-256; web legislation links to SSO by default.
